Dreaming and Working Together, Inc. (DWT) is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to helping those unable to help themselves. Lack of resources, transportation and funds prevent those in need from receiving the medical care that would enhance their lives. DWT strives to intervene on their behalf and pool our resources to work together have made dreams come true.

Hernando Garcia, the President of DWT, self-started this organization in order to help people in his native county of Peru. His passion, commitment and enthusiasm pushed the organization to blossom into a full-fledged team effort of doctors and volunteers committed to individuals in desperate need of basic amenities.

His initial idea was simple …collecting recyclables! By sharing his thoughts and goals with others, his ideas gained momentum and support. His perseverance transformed into Dreaming and Working Together, and he continues to remain loyal to his dream.
